    NOWLIN'S STORE ON PARK AVENUE 1 - Nowlin's Store on Park Avenue - across the bridge over Springcreek, the store is on left (when facing north) - the area where it stood is now part of Hersheypark - the sign on the porch rail says Hershey's Ice Cream - 15 cents - picture taken ca. 1930's - note the old automobiles. This building was 324-326 Park Avenue. Probably after 1936 it became the Park Avenue Apartments. It was torn down ca 1972;

His store must have been in Derry Church at this time - when he was still a young man, according to the sign on the wagon - also note that the sign painter ran out of room for the last "e" in the name;
