Description |
PARK GENERAL PHOTOS 45 - View from the highest point of the first Hershey roller coaster (The Wild Cat) by Walter Miller in 1925 - it shows the factory in the distance, the roller coaster track on the left, the contained Spring Creek, the road across the bridge on Bowling Alley Hill and the building at the end of the bridge is probably the mill that once stood at the edge of Spring Creek - the house belonging to the mill, which is partially hidden by trees, still stands (2020) just across Trinadad Avenue - The building at the right side of the photo might be the bowling alleys that gave the Park Avenue hill it's "Nickname"; |
