COMMUNITY BUILDING 24 - The construction of the Community Building in the skeleton stage - notice the house that is on the left is nearly up against the new structure - this is Fannie Hershey's House that was, at that time, being used as a hospital - when the new building was ready, the patients were moved into the new hospital on the top floor of the Community Building, and her house was torn down - note also the Cafe on the left edge of the photo and the building that was the firehall, now an employment bureau on the right; * |
