PARK BANDSHELL 13 - Empty benches at the band shell, a corner of which can be seen on the top left side of the photo - depending on the time this was taken, you would be able to see the Park Theatre building through the trees from about the middle to right of the top of the photo - the Park Theatre was a building built on a hill, where you entered at the top and the stage was at the bottom with the seats in between - the building was enclosed and used for rainy days when the band shell could not be used - early in the park's existence the Men's Club used it for their annual plays; |
