CAROLE HITE WELCH During a trip to Cuba, Carole Hite Welch purchased this painting from the artist Jose Ramirez. Carole donated the painting to HDTHS and it now hangs in the library. The description with the painting says "Old Havana Cuba during the time MS Hershey had the sugar business in Cuba in 1915 until the 1940's. Fannie, MS Hershey's mother, visited here in 1917 and 1918, in the winter, enjoying the beautiful Cuban weather.
